Nothing ages the body more than past or present trauma’s. As a Certified Therapist, walking through the trauma in the presence of a safe person, opens space to move through the hurt into a place of healing. Through this process, ANXIETY & DEPRESSION, become outdated and is replaced with a zest for living and new experiences. Therapy is provided for ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, LOSES FROM DEATH, DIVORCE, RETIREMENT, FAMILY AND MARITAL CONFLICT, ADDICTIONS & GENDER ISSUES.

As a person who is aging, nothing happens faster than time taking its toll on our bodies. All of a sudden, we notice an extra 10-15 lbs., sagging hips, thighs, tummy and legs. We say, “What happened? Additionally, climbing stairs, getting out of bed, carrying groceries or children just feels like so much work. Also, as we age, our muscle are smaller, our balance decreases and our risk for injury and falling increases. To age, agelessly, we need to take part in weight training, flexibility training and cardio vascular work to keep our heart and lungs healthy.
As an aging trainer, I will not put you through the rigors of programs designed for the younger body but you will learn exercises that will tone and create a youthful body image. Programs will be tailored to your age, gender, existing muscle mass and existing medical or physical conditions. The focus will be on reducing body fat that has accumulated due to the natural aging process as well as a sedentary lifestyle and poor nutritional choices. As Muscle replaces, fat storage, you will experience a surge in your energy level and overall body fitness.

There is nothing harder than trying to navigate the food industry without the assistance of a meal guide. The smells of sugars, breads, pizza’s, barbecues, tempt the palate with little thought to the outcome of eating refined sugars and carbohydrates. Clients will be provided nutritional counseling, recipes and food choice strategies (for your home and in restaurants) that assist in keeping the body toned, energy levels high, maintain a healthy weight or weight loss and provide a general sense of well-being.
